Hi all ,
I just read the drver files of hostmot2,I find two pins have been added,one is "encoder.<n>.raw-latch" and the other is "encoder.<n>.count-latched",I did want to know the use of these pins, I just guess these pins are use for extern probe trigger ,isn't it? Can you help me ?thanks a lot .

Yes, it seems that the new pins were added by Jeff Epler in this commit:

It appears that it is to allow probing at higher resolution.
