homing inputs not regestering - 7i96 though led toggles was created by jools
Hi all me again
I've been trying to sort my homing switches on the 7i96 this morning and have come up on a blank. When triggered the led's on the 7i96 toggle so I assume it's figured out that the switch has been triggered. range is -6v to +4v on triggering.
I've loaded the hal configuration tool though and looking at pins and looking at the GPIO 000 pin on the board (that has the toggling led) when triggered there is no change of state in HAL. I watched the in, in_not and out pins at the same time and nothing seems to being triggered.
The signal lights on the HAL configuration tool are either orange or red.
I've now monitored all gpio in puts and nothing changes when the sensor is triggered.
Does anyone know the hal pin for the inputs?
Thanks
jools

7I96 inputs 0 through 10 are readable in GPIO pins 0 through 10
If the input common is connected to +5V, the inputs should be 0V for on and +5V for off
So you can test by connecting input common to +5V and grounding input pins
If you measure -6V and +4V on the inputs relative to common the inputs will always be on
(the voltage should be 0V in the off state)

Sorted now. Not sure what I did. Got the alarm signals working too sharing the common pin with both 12v and 5v.
Cheers
