HAL UI axis select and Axis

I may not fully understand how this is supposed to work, but I had hoped that setting halui.axis.n.select high for a moment would select that axis. That does seem to be the case, as observed via HAL Configuration->Watch halui.axis.n.is-selected. Works great.

But Axis does not change its displayed selected axis. Similarly, changing the selected axis in Axis doesn't change it in halui. I thought these two would remain effectively synchronized. Is that not the case?

They are not synchronized. each ui has it's own concept of axis selection/jogging

Okay, is there a way to tell Axis to also switch the active axis? And to have it update HALUI when it switches axes? I see it does update the position when I jog via HALUI

AXIS does have HAL pins that report current selected axis. I'm sure you could connect them to Halui axis selection pins.
