Latency peaks problem was created by AllTech
Hi,
I'm building a linux based cnc with dc motors and encoders for the motion. So it's a closed-loop system. While I'm running the latency test, everything is fine except that sometimes, there are unexpected latency peaks à more than 150 (see pictures). I'm using the parallel port for controlling the cnc, no mesa card. Do you have any suggestions to troubleshoot this problem? Every comment is welcome.
Thanks,

Disable everything in BIOS regarding power saving, C states, ports/modem/audio, etc.
