Hi all,
I'm totally new to LinuxCNC and i have a question about kinematics. I'm building 5 axis (in the Cartesian system) foam cutter (two independent X axes, two independent Y axes and rotational axis) and i wonder about kinematics of the machine. I know people use trivkins for 4 axis machines, but can i also use trivkins in my case? Maybe someone here on the forum built such a machine?

LinuxCNC supports an XYUV config for foam cutters, is that anything like your machine?
