ArduinoIO HAL component

Hi,
to have 12 outputs you have to edit the arduinoIO.ino and set all pins in the array pinOut (the name of the pin you wanna use as output), also set the init state of all pis in pinInitState and if the pin need to be inverted to have the correct state in pinOutInvert; this 3 array must have the same number of the element, 12 in your case; 
Then you have to edit the file arduinoIO.py and set nOutput = 12

I have tried and there is a problem i try to fix it

Hi Dino,
I came across this and was considering giving it a try. I see that that the .py code stipulates <2.7, and I’m running 2.9 pre now (which I think is >Python 3). Would you expect it to work with 3, or do you plan to update?

there is no problems to use the code as is with python 3.x.y the __future__ statements is necessary only for use the print function in the newer format
I'm happy to know your feedback. I have draw a little PCB to control the spindle inverter with an Arduino NANO Every, if it's useful I can publish the schematic and the board.

Thanks for the reply. I think I’m about ready to try this out… need the remote IO’s for a new control panel. There will probably be some questions as some of this is new territory for me.
