mb2hal - still sending same codes for WRITE

I would like to know your opinion if it is common for the Modbus master to keep sending the same message for WRITE functions? mb2hal does it that way. I guess it doesn't matter. That works. I understand this for READ messages, but I find it strange for WRITE messages.
