What is a "bin" in the Latency Histogram was created by beefy
A lot of info referring to "bins" when it comes to the Latency Histogram component, but it would be nice if I knew exactly what a bin is.
I've Googled but can't find the answer. Could anyone be kind enough to enlighten me.

Thanks very much PCW.
First Google result and I'm wiser now.
That's where I was going wrong. I thought a bin was something specific to Linux or Linuxcnc, whereas it's just a term related to a histogram.

Its actually a very good question. The docs don't really give us anything about latency-histogram.
All that's offered is a copy of the eman page..
linuxcnc.org/docs/2.9/html/install/latency-test.html
It would be nice to see this get a bit of love...

I found out on the Google search that another name is "bucket" LOL.
So a bucket or a bin (as in a container).
Before that the only thing I could relate "bin" to was "binary" but that didn't make sense.
