M4 doesn't work

Yes I see that also, I think it may have to do with AXIS's spindle override
My (Axis) config (that works with M4) doesn't show the spindle override

Update:
I asked a friend who owns the same Motor & Mesa card to send me his hal and ini files and after changing parameters to run on my machine, now M4 works even with stepgen. I will now try to figure out the difference.

Update 2:
I have now cut out the Spindle part out of his config. It contains some features, i don't need, such as Spindle Orient, so the change is not yet obvious to me.
However M3 & M4 works now.
I have no clue why....

I am still working on it to bring it back to output the correct Speed, but the basic functionality is there.

Changing the spindle section of the ini file to include
the reverse velocity settings seems to fix the issue with M4
The default value of the reverse settings are supposed to be the
same as the forward settings but it appears this is not the case.

[SPINDLE_0]

MAX_VELOCITY = 2000.0 # or whatever
MIN_VELOCITY = 0.0
MAX_REVERSE_VELOCITY = 2000.0
MIN_REVERSE_VELOCITY = 0.0
