Host sensors HAL Component

Host sensors HAL Component was created by dsigma
So I wrote a HAL component that I use to extract all the motherboard sensor readings and make them available as HAL pins, and in turn display them in my pyVCP. Attached is a python component and JPG snapshot of it's output (on my computer). I thought this might be handy to someone else out there. It will automatically detect most motherboard sensor readings, parse them, and make them available in the HAL...
Hope someone else finds this useful...

Sure... You'll find the sensors related parts at the very bottom of the attached XML file.
Note: each computer has different types of sensors, and different things will show up in the HAL depending on what the python script is able to find. You'll need to go into EMC and look at what it finds and how it names the pins, then reference those in your pyvcp.xml
Hope this helps...
Best Regards

Thank you Dave.
I am not good at writing xml. I find it much easier to copy, paste, then modify to suit.
Now that I think I have everything set up correctly, I find that my MoBo doesn't have any sensors to speak of. I verified this with a gnome utility.
Thank you again!
