Hello
I have found a Schaublin 128CNC.
The seller is aware that such a machine will always be a retrofit, so I hope that this will also be reflected in the price.
But before I start pricing, I would like to estimate how much work it would take.
The control system is a Bosch Alpha CRT Alpha CNC 2.
I have received pictures of the control box, but I can't assign anything.
What kind of servo motors/controllers does a machine like this have?
Glass rods or encoders on the Servos?
I followed Mark's topic a bit, I think he changes all servo motors including drivers.

Is there a set of wiring diagrams? On my lathe, they were in the cabinet door. I know nothing about that Bosch system sorry.

I first wanted to estimate how extensive and expensive a retrofit would be.
But now I simply had no more time for further negotiations.
and actually the Schaublin is already borderline small for my purposes.
we will see...

I would look for a "Zyklendrehmaschine" probably a number larger than the 128 is.
with good guides and obsolete or broken control for retrofitting
