Hi,
I have an anilam lathemate lathe it has a westamp mt 233 motor driving the z axis this motor says that it is 26 lb/in 140 max volts and 47 pulse amps. I am thinking about replacing this with an AC servo, what wattage of AC servo should be equivalent to this motor.

Voltage is not very important, current is, so check manuals for current limiting, all drives should have it, but on some it is very hard to program.
Is it a brushed or brushless motor?

I would size the motor on rated torque, not on power.
So look for a servo with a similar rated torque.
