7i43 io with 7i37 & 7i42 was created by cncbasher
looking for clarification on connecting up between the 7i43 & io cards 7I37T & 7I42TA
i'm presuming on the 7I37T that the inputs are 1 - 16 relating to 0 - 15 on the 7I43 AND outputs 17 - 24 relating to 16 - 23 on the 7I43
using pncconf , i realise theirs no relationship to the addon's , so is their any prefered sequences
i'm only using steppers on this configuration at the moment

Yes, the inputs are on the first 16 GPIO pins
of the connector which will be:
GPIO 0..15 (7I43 P4) and
GPIO 24..39 (7I43 P3)
Outputs are on the last 8 GPIO pins of
the connector which will be:
GPIO 15..23 (7I43 P4)
GPIO 40..47 (7I43 P3)
Note that you need to set the is_output parameter
for all GPIO output pins and for the 7I37,you will also
likely want to set the invert_output parameter on all outputs
of the connector which will be:
GPIO 0..15 (7I43 P4) and
GPIO 24..39 (7I43 P3)
