in my application I need a lot of digital I/O......... the question is: Is posible to install a generic pci pio board in the EMC2 ?

Did you look at the Mesa boards? www.mesanet.com These boards are already
supported.

No doubt one could spend many hours building this board and writing a driver. Do yourself a
big favor and use a mesa board instead. If you do not require PCI performance there are
many more options. For low budget, search ebay, I'm sure many ISA boards are available
for cheap.
