WEST AMP # 33026-5 DRIVER BOARD QUESTIONS was created by dougharris
Does anyone know if the WEST AMP # 33026-5 Driver Boards are Analog or PWM ? And do you have a PIN-OUT Diagram ?
Any Help is most welcome !!

These people seem to have manuals for most West-Amp drives:
ormec.com/Support/SupportLibrary/LegacyDocuments.aspx
the 33026 looks very much like the A721 but I did not look through all of them
Looks like a standard analog velocity mode servo
EDIT: the A721X series of multi-axis drives use 1 to 6 of the 33026 drive cards (one per axis).
They are standard +-10V analog velocity mode drives

The power stage is PWM, the circuitry on the board compares commanded
velocity with the tachometer reading, and that generates a torque command.
Another circuit compares motor current to the torque command and sets
the PWM accordingly. This is typical of nearly all servo amps of that
period.

The velocity command input to the amps is almost certainly analog.Does anyone know if the WEST AMP # 33026-5 Driver Boards are Analog or PWM ? And do you have a PIN-OUT Diagram ?

Thanks, Very Much, the Diagram of the A721 looks the same ? I will check & compare the 2. Talked with someone @ Thermwood and he confirmed the the Signal is Analog not PWM !
We are trying to decide if we should change out the West Amp boards for New Mesa Boards ?
Any thoughts ?
