I have been poking around and haven't seen anything, so I thought I would ask... Has support expanded to USB / Azteeg / Arduino type controller cards yet? I know the difference between parallel and USB, but I didn't know if some progress has been made yet. I enjoy LinuxCNC over Mach3, so I am patiently waiting.

as far as a Arduino this can be used as a input device to linuxcnc , but would never work as a base for running Linuxcnc instead of a pc etc ..
it''s just not powerfull as such . and will never happen .
however running Linuxcnc on a Beaglebone black has , and is currently being developed . depending on what you are looking to do for functionality .
the usual way is to run the beaglebone headless and use a pc to access for gui .

i would expect any similar arm processor to be used , if the time and effort is used to develop further
