I try to start the sample in LINUXCNC 5i22 big.
The 5i22 is plugged in and after start I become follow errors:
Does somebody ha a idea?
I run Master in Ubuntu 12.04.

Debug file information:
insmod: error inserting '/usr/realtime-3.4.55-rtai-2/modules/linuxcnc/hm2_pci.ko': -1 Unknown symbol in module
That is quite similar to the thread:

I belive that you miss the .BIT files on the right place.

the 5i20 board will work,
OK I copied the files to the place, but no change,
only the 5i20 board work, the 5i22 not ( I only have one of this boards in the Computer )

I would suggest that you clear the kernel log with:
sudo dmesg -c
and then run linuxcnc again and search for 5I22 in the kernel log to determine what the error is

then there is a fault in the sample config Files from Linuxcnc
the file creates
CONFIG="firmware=hm2/5i22/SVST8_8B.BIT num_encoders=3 num_pwmgens=3 num_stepgens=0"
but there is no file like this.
I changed it to:
CONFIG="firmware=hm2/5i22-1.5/SVST8_8.BIT num_encoders=3 num_pwmgens=3 num_stepgens=0"
and it works
