Using 7i77 with a VFD was created by tjones
I have the 7i77 and I am having trouble getting the VFD to work with it. I have attached a PDF of the pin out from the VFD. I am using one of the Analog Drive Interfaces for the 0 and +10 VDC. I am not sure which ones I need to use and where they need to be plugged into the 7i77. Also is the digital common different from a field ground?
Thanks,

Do you have a drive manual? the included drawing does not provide
enough information to know how to connect to the VFD
Normally you use 7I77 channel 5 (the last channel) for spindle control since its has a separate enable

The VFD was used in the previous CNC (back from the 80's) and we are rebuilding it. That PDF is literally the only information I have on it. I even contacted the maker of the company and they had nothing.

has a valuable second pdf...
so it looks like
Analogout5 --> 1
Gnd5 --> 17
Then you connect either 18 or 19 to 14 for forward or reverse
(for 1 direction you can use the enable output for this, for reversing you
will probably need a relay)
