TB6600 4 axis setup info? was created by cwebs
I have a new TB6600 4 axis board and would like some info on setup. Is there a usable setup in the driver list that comes with Linuxcnc to start with. Or just use Stepper Config and play with the numbers? Thanks for any help. Carl

There isn't too much to know, there is no special config I am aware of, just use a generic parport one
www.linuxcnc.org/index.php/english/forum...3-configuring-tb6600
Note the warnings, they do not like excess voltage or current

Thank you for the info. I have read everyware that they can go bang very easily. I never run anything at max. not even my boat. I am sneaking up on this board and will be using it on a table top machine I made from stuff under the work bench. Nema 17's at 1 1/2 amps 24 volts. Right now it is running GRBL 4 axes. Thanks, Carl
