mesa card for cw5045 drivers was created by vre
I have 3 cw4045 drivers connected to parallel port and iam getting full rapids 5m/min with
10 microstepping but with 10 microstepping steppers are noisy.
If i get a mesa card and set 256 microstepping noise with be less and i will get less vbrations ?
Is a mesa card solution for this ?

You could try the parallel port implementation at low speeds to see
how much noise reduction is possible with higher ustep ratios.
In my experience ustep ratios above about 32 usteps/full step do not
show much improvement in lowering noise/vibration.
A hardware stepgen will be smoother in general than the
software stepgen because of the higher base frequency of the hardware stepgen
(between 33 and 100 MHz on mesa cards).
The software stepgen has a highest base frequency of perhaps 100 KHz
(with say 30 KHz to 50 KHz being more typical values) This means that at
high step rates the output step waveform will have a significant energies at beat
frequencies between the step rate and the base frequency. These beats
add to the noise and vibration issues.

I think a 5i25/5i24 will do the job.
Just one more question ..
Is 5i25 db25 compatible with this bob ?
www.ebay.com/itm/5-axis-CNC-Breakout-Boa...-MACH3-/321565835927
it has hc245 for outputs and 5 pc817 optoisolated inputs.

Yes, though it may take a custom config to use all 5 axis for step/dir.
