Cool !!! but for the time being i can not use that, i have built and tested 2 THC using PIC micro controllers and they work bloody quick and without a hitch ( well not really but on that later) so i will implement an voltage to frequency converter so i can have the actual voltage shown on Linuxcnc and add a D/A converter for connecting to the plasma to control the current. Also adding tabs and leds to Linuxcnc for different thickness of material with pre-set values for voltage and current and feed speed, and different materials (Al, CU, FE) . All of this is something i really do not need but it is something that can be done easily (easy for me ).
Back to the hitch mentioned above : the THC does work flawlessly but the 2 line graphic lcd screen sometimes goes all fuzzy when the plasma strikes the arc.Need more shielding, me thinks (still using it without a case and directly above the 90A plasma ).
Regards,
Tom
