Got the glade panel working. I just changed the following in the ini file under (display):
Removed the two embed_tab lines and replaced it with GLADEVCP = -H gvcp_call_list.hal gvcp-panel.ui
And left the other code in the gvcp_options.hal and custom_postgui.hal alone.
Also, everything is fine with G7 and G8. I confirmed it with a dial indicator.
