Ordering parts from Mesa - how long before shipped

I've ordered my first part from Mesa electronics on the 10th of this month. Just logged in today and my order is still showing as "pending". Sales have told me that will change to "completed" and I'll get a tracking number, once the order is shipped.

So so far it's been 17 days since my order and it's not even posted yet.

I was told that normally you can't order a part if it's not in stock, so I don't see why it's taking so long to send out.

I've put another email in to sales but I'm just wondering if this is normal with Mesa orders. I've never had any order for anything take over 17 days just to get posted out when it's in stock.

We are way behind in store orders so they are running at
least 2-3 weeks from time of order to time of shipment

OK thanks for that.

I've just spoken to a friend who knows Mesa very well and he's also said Mesa has been swamped with orders recently.

That's obviously a good sign indicating demand for quality products.

5 weeks and 2 days and the stock card I ordered has not been sent out yet.

But worse, Mesa has ignored my last 3 attempts at communicating with them. I see I am not alone in this situation.

It would be good to know if there's any truth in the rumour I've just heard, that Mesa only wants to deal with OEM customers. Blatantly ignoring us little fish, after not sending out stock parts for weeks, does kind of fit in with that rumour.

It's now EIGHT weeks and counting and my in stock board has still not been posted out.

And as expected another communication attempt has been ignored.

PCW, is it possible for you to answer my question and give me some idea of when Mesa can pop the PCB in a box and send it out.

Please, is that too much to ask.

Keith.

Bit disapointing Keith.

A simple "We are unable/unwilling to supply you" would have done the trick.

If you like that one Greolt, check out the other thread:

Is this the new Mesa way of treating its customers. It about the closest thing to f*%k you that you can get.

I hope this isn't how my order that I placed yesterday goes!

Just remember about what PCW said in the above linked thread. If you've paid by credit card the funds hold only lasts 30 days so if it's too much for them to pop it in a box and sent it out within that time (which is starting to seem very likely), your order is dead and you'll have to order all over again. And if Mesa can't answer an email, they probably are not going to inform customers that their order period has expired.

I only found this out because I ASKED about the credit card hold period. Then all I get is a reply of it's expired, I've cancelled your order. This was after 8 weeks.

Great service.

Keith
