Display for 7i73 was created by newbynobi
Hallo,
i am trying to purchase a display for the 7i73, unfortunately I can not find a supllier for the KyoceraC-51847NFQJ-LW-AAN
There are some international shops, but paying € 18 shipping for a € 25 display is a horror for me.
So I found a similar display here: Reichelt Display 4x20
There are two datasheets with details:
Datasheet 1
Datasheet 2
IMHO that one should also work, but unfortunately I am not an expert in electroniks.
Any advice would be appreciated.
Norbert

That display will not work without some help (it requires a negative voltage for the LCD contrast adjustment)
The display we selected was 3.3V only. Its likely that most single supply displays with nibble interfaces
and a supported size would work

I will see what it is. (I might have spares)

Hallo Andy,
i am still looking for a display,
could you check for manufacturer and type?
Anyone else has a alternative to the mentioned Kyocera display with supplier in Europe / Germany if possible?

I am not sure that there is any marking on mine, I will try to remember to look.
However, they are pretty much all to the same standard, using the same driver chip, so any you get is likely to work.
www.amazon.de/niceeshop-Arduino-Basieren...-1&keywords=20x4+lcd
For example, uses the HD44780 so ought to work with the 7i73.

My mistake, clicking around, searching for a data sheet, i have changed the product.
I ordered that one, I will inform, if it does work.
