hi Guys
Have a problem with a 5I20 and 7I48 with loadrt hm2_pci config="firmware=hm2/5i20/SV12IM_2X7I48_72.BIT
PID everything to zero only FF1 = 1
At 500mm / min + 5V -5V
At 250mm / min + 2.5V -7,5V
At 800mm / min + 8V -2V
Cabling is I.O
dmesg :
[ 193.908145 ] RTAI [math ] : loaded .
[ 194.055124 ] hm2 : loading Mesa HostMot2 driver version 12:15
[ 194.062562 ] hm2_pci : loading Mesa AnyIO HostMot2 driver version 0.7
[ 194.062697 ] hm2_pci : discovered 5i20 at 0000 : 04 : 00.0
[ 194.226302 ] hm2 / hm2_5i20.0 : WARNING : this firmware has Muxed Encoder v2 !
[ 194.226314 ] hm2 / hm2_5i20.0 : WARNING : velocity computation will be incorrect!
[ 194.226321 ] hm2 / hm2_5i20.0 : WARNING : upgrade your firmware !
Could this be the problem ??
If so, how do I have to update ??
Have in the packet data management all updates made no success .

The main problem you have is most likely that the PWMGENs are not set to mode 2 (UP/DOWN mode)
The encoder velocity calculation error (which is not related to your voltage output issue) is due to using
a very old firmware file.
You would need to update the hostmot2 firmware package with the package manager to fix this

Not sure what you are saying about the mode
(PWM gen mode must be set to 2 for the 7I48)
what firmware file are you using?

Firmware Datei ist die SV12IM_2X7I48_72
Mit dem Mode meine ich das ich PWM -Signal +-10V brauche

What I mean is that until you set the PWM mode to mode 2 the +-10V analog output will be incorrect

OK
ie if I need + -10V I have to go suf mode 1 or ?
Can you send me a link where it says how I can update ??

the 7I48 _requires_ that the PWM mode be set to 2
There is no other option that will work
Also if you don't have 2 7I48s you should probably use svst6_6_7i48.bit
its more likely to have been updated

OK then probably comes here purely mode 2
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.output-type 1
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.scale [AXIS_0]OUTPUT_SCALE
But I have 2X7I37TA hang at the 5I20
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.output-type 1
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.scale [AXIS_0]OUTPUT_SCALE

so
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.output-type 1
must be changed to
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.output-type 2
for all channels
if you have 2 7I37TA, then you should use svst6_6_7i48.bit
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.output-type 1
must be changed to
setp hm2_5i20.0.pwmgen.00.output-type 2
