Hello everybody, I have a Mesa 5i25 + 7i76 + Hyperterm 65 . I am thinking of changing my thc for a thcad card from mesa. in the z axis I have a stepper motor so my doubt is if is posible using thcad with stepper motor or need a servo motor ? if is posible use with stepper motor could anyone show a digram conection so I don't realize how to hook it ups.

Any type of Z axis should work, the THCAD only provides the torch voltage to hal
Any drive type can be supported with the proper hal setup.
I suspect step drives are much more common for torchheight control than servo systems

Thanks John. I am Leandro from indiceCNC I've ordered the THCAD last week to you (It should be coming). Today arrived the 5i25 and 7i76 kit you sent me. I will work with it next weekend.
