Need advice on driver board and interface for LIllasyster was created by more10
I am planning to upgrade my
Lillasyster
with a new driver board and computer hardware. The stepper motors are 57STH41. I have a power supply.
I need some advice on what to purchase regarding computer, driver board and the interface between them. I know how this works with CAD/CAM but I have no practical experience except for 3D printing.
Should I go for a printer port interface? Or is there a more modern approach? USB is to be avoided right?
Recommendation on a good cheap driver board that I can source within the EU?

It's a low-cost and simple way to get started. It probably makes sense to start off there, and decide if it is good enough.
