motor power 7i40 was created by billykid
Hello,
now I have finished trying the 7i40 and I am very satisfied.
now I have a doubt about the power supply of the motor .. the tests were done with a stabilized power supply at 30 vol 10 amperes.
now if, for example, I use a 24-volt diode bridge and a large capacitor, I go to about 34 volts.
Will this affect pid tuning? perhaps better to stabilize a value?
Thanks in advance
Mauro

If the voltage varies significantly, it will affect the tuning (specifically FF1)
A small variation (say 10%) will not typically cause much of an issue

as with the other drive I had an ammeter to measure the current of the spindle and now with the 7i40 two motors are powered together.
is there a software way to do it?
thank you
