Solved Mesa 7i76 Endstop connection was created by caban
So far, I had a mach 3 board running on my 3 axis milling machine and now wanted to upgrade with a 7i25 & 7i76 plug & go kit.
I had mechanical NC limit switches and would like to continue using them.
But unfortunately I do not get these to run.
To narrow down the error I try the construction only with one limit switch.
E-Stop on Input 4 works. If i move E-Stop to Input 0 E-Stop works too. If I move X-Limit to input 4 I become a error.
If i invert the limit-switch the error comes by open the switch.
Today I test one PNP switch, but I have the same issue...
Can someone help me?

For PNP or NC (Normally Closed) limit/home switches you must connect the
hm2_5i25.0.7i76.0.0.input-XX-not limit/home pin to motions limit/home pins
This is not in question.
If you get an error, this means that something else about homing is not setup properly. I would suggest reading the linuxCNC documentation on homing:
linuxcnc.org/docs/html/config/ini-homing.html
