allen bradley powerflex 40 was created by vre
I have many vfd allen bradley powerflex 40 4kw 400v class.
Can i drive with these vfds servo motors
(3phase synchronous pm motors) with+-10v analog and send the encoder
feedback to linuxcnc?
Normally these vfds drive induction motors(asynchronous) but can drive synchronous? Manual does not say anything.
Says it supports V/F & sensorless vector control.

yes you can do this
by using the MESA 7i77 itt gives yoiu a very fast and good working mashine
with a 7i92 you can go full ethernet
