Stepper motor Drive DM2522A was created by stefan63
Does anyone have experience with the Stepper motor Drive DM2522A 9-220V AC
It is a driver module with integrated power supply (Feels convenient).
Will it work with LinuxCNC or are there better options?
Another Q that pops my mind is, should I go for Switching or transformer power supply (in case of unpowered drivers).
Kind regards/Stefan "CNC rookie"

That cabinet looks great, nicely organised and clean.
Some people suggest 80-90V power supply for NEMA 34 steppers to gett best performance. Is that just an assumption or are there any substance in that suggestion?

That is just as a reference, you can make do with 24V power supply if you do not need fast RPM from the motors, but that is usually to low .
Also, try to avoid using the maximum allowed voltage for the drives, especially the chinese ones, so if it says 50V max, use 36V, for 90V max ones use 60 to 72V, and so on.

That is OK, and if you can get the setup to that point, it would be nice. That allows faster speeds from the motor. Some people suggest 80-90V power supply for NEMA 34 steppers to gett best performance. Is that just an assumption or are there any substance in that suggestion?
