Hello,

I got a ROD 426 that I want to hook to the 7i76 spindle encoder pins.

I read many posts on the forum and went through the Heidenhain Rotary_Encoders_en.pdf and the Interfaces_en.pdf (relevant pages in the attached pdf).

This encoder is TTL and provides differential outputs. So far so good.

In page 6 of the pdf, there is a section and a diagram.

It shows :
"Input circuit of the subsequent electronics
Dimensioning
IC1 = Recommended differential line receiver:
DS 26 C 32 AT Only for a > 0.1 μs: AM 26 LS 32
MC 3486
SN 75 ALS 193"

Is the 7i76 encoder IC compatible with a recommended one so that I can wired them straight ?

Thanks for help.

Did you get the ROD 426 readout working with the 7i76?
