Hi, I have a problem running the configuration for 7i76E.

I get an error on startup
What did I do wrong ??

Look like maybe a LinuxCNC installation issue:
Refusing to run as root without fallback UID specified
and:
Machine configuration directory is '/root/linuxcnc/configs/my_LinuxCNC_machine'
LinuxCNC is not intended to be run as root

I dont think the refusal to run as root is card related (at least from the error message)
It might a RTAI vs Userspace LinuxCNC difference

Also you have the PC IP set to 1, please change that to 11 or above, gateway has to be 1.

I changed PC IP but it did not solve the problem of running on the administrator account.
On another account, LinuxCNC starts correctly.

Linuxcnc and a lot of other software on Linux does not work on an administrator account, usually you get a warning that it should not be done at all. Linux has an administrator account just for administrative tasks, almost everything else should be run as a normal user.
