Yeah basically...
Unfortunately its very awkward to support just one resolver with Mesa cards
It might be easier to add and encoder to the 4th axis

Are you saying it is awkward because of the price of the card or another reason ?

now thinking 7i76e + 7i89 + 7i49 would these do the job

The 7I49 is relatively expensive and needs a 50 pin FPGA card
If all axis had resolvers you would typically use a 7I49 and say a 7I80HD FPGA card
If some axis had analog servos with encoders you could add a 7I52.

Thanks for the feedback.

I missed requirement for the 50 pin card. so if we ditched the resolver on the 4th axis and put an encoder on it .

Could the 7i76e + 7i89 be used or I have spotted a 7i95 would that replace them both.
