Mesa 7i76e in trouble. NVC7608 fried.
The 7I76E will drive resistive or inductive loads up to 350 mA
(inductive loads > 60 mA need a flyback diode across the inductance)
I'm not sure why the driver chip failed but direct driving of relays is what the
7I76E field outputs are designed to do.
