Not sure exactly how to say it but I'm working on changing my hal config around a bit for a spindle servo change. I'm not finished with the hal changes yet but it's at a point where I should be able to load it. So I load the config and keep getting "Pin 'hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.output-xx' does not exist" on every I/O pin. messed with it for a bit then realized the 7i76 GPIO alias or module (whatever you want to call it is not appearing as instantiated pins anymore, just GPIO. I'm curious what the config is missing that I'm losing the ......7i76.0.0.output-xx section. I did change the SS line of the config since I removed an 8i20 and now need a couple of analog inputs but I think the SS mode line is correct for that.
config attached, as I said it's not complete and likely has quite a few errors.....I'm just trying to pinpoint the missing I/O section at the moment.

check that field power is present - some pins will not show unless there is power.

Yeah that was it, I'll take the bonehead move of the day on that one. I had the field power connector unplugged slightly and didn't notice it because of the way the board is tucked into the electrical box.
Thanks
