is this a Plasma Machine
then change the MOUSE no Joke modern mouses do get lots of EM use a old fashion 3button logitech and all problems are gone

Actually, good point. I had a freezing problem with my Mill controller (LinuxCNC worked perfectly, never missed a beat, and the parts came out fine, but the UI stopped responding). The answer was to unplug the wireless mini-keyboard dongle except when I wanted to use the keyboard.
I was clued in to this by looking at the logs and seeing 10 USB connect/disonnects per second happening.
