spindle is not turning.
my vfd is SAKO SKI780

You should have

+10V --> TB4 pin 3 SPIN+
AIN --> TB4 pin 2 SPINOUT
GND --> TB4 pin 1 SPIN-
DI1 --> TB4 pin 5 ENA+
GND --> TB4 pin 6 ENA-
DI2 --> TB4 pin 7 DIR+
GND --> TB4 pin 8 DIR-

Note that you would need to program your drive for RUN/DIR mode instead of
FWD/REV mode

i connected according to what you wrote.
it still isnt turning.
i have no idea what value to program for it to run in another mode.
the values for D1 and D2 are on page 22. maybe you can take a look and tell me what to program?

I would verify that you can run the drive by putting switches from DI1 and DI2 to ground

The manual is not clear at all on how the inputs work, it has a diagram showing
the digital inputs activated by being pulled to ground, but the text seems to contradict
this and suggests that digital inputs must be pulled up to 24V to be activated

If grounding the DI inputs does not work, I would try connecting them to the drives +24V
pin and see if that activates them. If that works then I would re-wire the 7I76 ENA and DIR pins like this:

DRIVE+24 --> TB4 pin 5 ENA+
DI1 --> TB4 pin 6 ENA-
DRIVE+24 --> TB4 pin 7 DIR+
DI2 --> TB4 pin 8 DIR-

It looks like you change the mode by setting parameter P4-11 to 2 but the manual is missing any description of the modes

i checked it now (was not at home yesterday) and P4-11 programmed to 0 only then grounding D1 and D2 activates the spindle. but still cant control it from linuxcnc.

edit: im adding a picture so its more clear what to connect and to where

Have you verified that the hal pin

hm2_7i76e.0.7i76.0.0.spinena

is true when you expect the spindle to be on?

i got it to work!!!
i used this
DRIVE+24 --> TB4 pin 5 ENA+
DI1 --> TB4 pin 6 ENA-
DRIVE+24 --> TB4 pin 7 DIR+
DI2 --> TB4 pin 8 DIR-

but instead of 24v i connected it to ground.
but it only works in one direction and max rpm is 10000 in linuxcnc

edit: sorted max rpm by manuall editing the ini file.

You should have

+10V --> TB4 pin 3 SPIN+

GND --> TB4 pin 1 SPIN-

Just to confirm , TB4 pins 5,6,7,8 pin to signal polarity are in typo? Should be
DI1 --> TB4 pin 6 ENA+
GND --> TB4 pin 5 ENA-
DI2 --> TB4 pin 8 DIR+
GND --> TB4 pin 7 DIR-
