Stepping up driver ouput voltage was created by An
Hi all, I purchased an sanyo denki stepper motor and thought that the inductance was 1.6mh, turns out it was 16... I am running gecko G540 and I dont have enough voltage. Is it possible to up the voltage coming out of the driver or is this a bad idea?
Thanks

No, the best you can do is run the G540 at close to its limits (48V?)
16 mH is really high so unlikely to work well with most common step drives
