Thanks for finding and replying on what this was and where it came from.

Seems to me that not all metal is "clean" and by that I mean, it can be rusty and have various stuff on it. A metal probe might not always detect through that. this does have variable sensitivity so, in theory at least should be able to read through the crud. It remains to be seen on what happens with water though. I don't claim to be an expert in fact this will be my first plasma table that I've built but thought an ohmic sensor sounded like a good idea.

I think that is a good reason to have a float switch as backup to the ohmic probe.

Hello,

i was wondering if you got this board to work? I have a cnc machine I made and i need an ohmic sensor. I downloaded the plans you provided had 5 boards made. They will be delivered 10/26. I have all the micro components but I have some questions. Are you still working this?
