DM542T and Sherline Stepper was created by kbec
I am not sure how my stepper lines up with what is in the DM542T Manual. I have attached a picture with the DM542T manual on the left, and Sherline Stepper documentation on the right. The Sherline Brown and Green seem to be common. Would I have what is Fig 6 in the DM542T manual?, 6-lead motor full coil?
If that is the case, then I would wire like so:
Stepper DM542T
A Blue A+
O Brown NC
C Orange A-
B Yellow B+
M Green NC
D Red B-
I think that is right, on the stepper drive, do the GND and +V both go to my 30V power supply? If so, where do the NC wires from the stepper go?

If you need more speed and less torque use pic 5
If you need more torque and less speed use pic 6

Nowhere, just under some good isolation tape.If so, where do the NC wires from the stepper go?
