I am not using WIFI for the board, just the network connection for the Linux host. I think I got everything sorted out now.

You shouldn't need a route to that interface. It has it already. Just don't put a gateway and anything on that network will automagically hit that interface.

I think I'll be ok then. I put a host route into the route table, so all the traffic to the Mesa card should go through that interface. The default route on 10 should pick up all the other traffic.
