7i96 issue

Have my machine moving but it will not stop at home/limit switches. Have it troubleshot down to my 7i96 is not supplying power to my switches. Its reading 0 volts at the terminals. Any ideas?

The 7I96 does not supply power to limit switches, that's up to the external wiring.

For example, active high wiring (sinking inputs)

7I96 Input common --> GND
+24V --> switch --> 7i96 input

Active low wiring (sourcing inputs):

7I96 input common --> +24V
GND --> switch --> 7I96 input

Well that would explain why i dont have power, learn something new all the time. Thanks
