Control DC servo with 8i20 board? was created by Methier
Hi, i was checking that some brushless pwm servo amplifiers from Advanced Motion Control can be connected to a DC servo, you have to connect the one hal sensor input to ground or something like that, is not a hack btw, is on the manuals.
Based on that i wonder if it is possible to do something similar with a 8i20 board, haven't checked the manuals.
It would be very practical because of the wide range of input voltage, and the peak current looks fair for medium size machines.
Thank you

It might be possible with a static angle. You would not get the full voltage output however
