Hello,
I've recently started to wire my new 7i76e into my new DIY CNC, built all by myself, today i was wiring the spindle when i saw that my VFD had two pins for the direction, one for Forward direction, and the other one for reverse, so at that point i stopped working on it as i didn't know how to connect it.

I know that the 7i76e can invert the direction pin for reverse, but, how can i configure it / wire it to work with two pin for spindle direction?

Thanks in advance.

EDIT: i know that I could set another pin in HAL to output two different signals for the spindle direction, but is there a better way?

Many newer VFDs have the ability to run in either FWD/REV or ENA/DIR modes
so that is another option.

Sadly mine works only works with FWD/REV and the analog input, so i think I need to configure another pin in hal, or reconfigure the one configured for ENA/DIR to FWD/REV

Make a small logic in hal
Enable and fwd go to pin vfd fwd
Enable and Not fwd go to vfd-pin rev
