Firmware 6I24-25 with 7i48 & 7i44 was created by robh
Hi
does any one know which firmware is needed to run
6I24-25
with
7i48 in port4
7i44 in port 1
does the 5i24_25_svss6_8.bit work for this setup?
if not do i need a custom file made?
thanks rob

I would expect 5i24_**_svss6.8.bit to be the correct firmware.
To be sure, download the source ( www.mesanet.com/software/parallel/5i24.zip ) and look in the "hostmot2.zip" file for PIN_SVSS6_8_96.vhd and compare that to the interface connector pinouts of the cards.
It looks right to me, after a quick look.

You can also load the firmware with mesaflash and then use the readhmid option to check the pinout:
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --write 5i24_25_svss6_8.bit --reload
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --readhmid
or if you have the very latest mesaflash, replace the last command with:
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --readhmid --dbname1=7I48 --dbname3=7I44
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --write 5i24_25_svss6_8.bit --reload
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --readhmid
or if you have the very latest mesaflash, replace the last command with:
sudo mesaflash --device 5i24 --readhmid --dbname1=7I48 --dbname3=7I44
