Raspberry Pi 4-B and Mesa 7C81 or 7i92? was created by drummond
So, GPIO or Ethernet? The Ethernet choice seems to have the "longest legs" inasmuch as anything with a decent latency and Ethernet should work, making the Raspberry Pi replaceable with another platform should I need to do so in the future. The 7i92 has less I/O than the 7C81, but plenty for my needs right now.
The 7C81 is immediately available, the 7i92M is currently out of stock-is that a temporary issue or one that may take some time? I *think* the original 7i92 had a female DB25 header, which would work well for me because I already have a long straight through male to male DB25 cable. I can't find any of the the 7i92 family via google search other than the M, so I wonder about availability?

The plain 7I92 will be at least 3-4 weeks away

I believe I have a DB 25 gender adapter somewhere, if not they aren't difficult to buy.

Hello, we can’t find any information about 7i92 here. I would like to ask you what type of board 7i92 is. Since I don’t understand English and the official information can’t be understood, we can’t use Google to search. If you can, please help me to answer it. Thank you
