Network Issue with Mesa and Wifi was created by Ritterchen
Hey together,
I set up my Mesa Card accordingly to this how-to here forum.linuxcnc.org/27-driver-boards/3559...ethernet-mesa-boards

However I have still wired issues with reaching some websites (linuxcnc.org) while others work perfectly fine (LinuxCNC Forum, Google)

The checkbox of "Use this connection only for resources on its network" is enabled.

Someone has a clue what could be the issue here?

All the best
Fritz

Not an issue on your end, LinuxCNC site might be under maintenance or something, so if everything else works you're good.

I'm having a problem with this also. I can use the internet until I start the 7i76, after that I have to restart the system for Internet.

Are you using wicd?

Its known to cause issues with multiple connections

I'm on 2.9.0 I don't know if I'm using wicd.
I did not notice the Wi-Fi, I'm running 2 Ethernet cards. I gave up on Wi-Fi at 2.7.

If you started with the standard 2.8.0 ISO you will have WICD installed
It needs to be replaced with Network Manager as WICD breaks configurations with multiple interfaces

I'm running Network Manager. While I did the test I tested at the same time on another system, so I assume it should not be related to maintenance.

The output of ip a looks as following:
1: lo: <LOOPBACK,UP,LOWER_UP> mtu 65536 qdisc noqueue state UNKNOWN group default qlen 1000

That actually looks OK, I would guess the problem is elsewhere
