Yaskawa cacr servo drives was created by Baldkiwi
Greetings from New Zealand.
I've recently got a Kondia K600 that has Yaskawa Cacr sr05be12f-e drives.
One of the drives does not power up & get to bb stage.
Does anyone know of an affordable repair facility or an equivalent drive I could put in it's place.
Many thanks in advance, Stephen.

It might be worth asking on CNCzone too.

Does it not power up at all, as in nothing happens, no lights, nothign, when power on?
could be something "simple" like this,
spaz.org/~jake/robot/yaskawa-servopack-repair.pdf
Service wise? Ive had my old ass yaskawa servos repaired and encoder replaced by a local company. I had 2 options, buy a used replacement on ebay or have it repaired by the company. Prices were unfortunately close, so i went with the sure thing and got it repaired. but it wasnt cheap (nothing yaskawa seems to be), like $2000
I dont have any recomendations for a newzealand servo repair shop, but surprisingly google says theres like 5 places in auckland
