HSC86A NEMA34 stalling fault wiring error was created by Redneck92
Hello guys,
I just joined this forum and thus far I´m glad for this big community.
So, I just started setting up a dry run with my Mesa 7i96 + 7i85S Setup and immediately
found a Problem.
The motor would just humm and the driver would fault out when trying to manually control an axis.
The Driver and Motor package came with a drawing and wiring diagram which turns out to be wrong.
The contacts from the encoder on the motor seem to be wired up incorrectly.
The Datasheet says 86HS165ES on it and they say the wiring should be:
+5V RED
0V BLACK
PA+ BLUE
PA- BROWN
PB+ YELLOW
PB- GREEN
But in my Setup now it is as follows:
+5V RED
0V BLACK
PA+ YELLOW
PA- GREEN
PB+ BLUE
PB- BROWN
So maybe this can help somebody in the future with this problem

me too, that fixed things here. Now to work out some settings that calibrate the thing.
